In today's society, various channels can be said to bloom everywhere. In terms of studying abroad, there are a lot of bridge courses and credit transfer courses, which we are used to call pathway and art. If there are some "1 + 3" courses, they are 1 year in China, 3 years in foreign countries, and so on. For these forms of cooperative education, I have published many articles on my personal views. To be frank, I'm basically negative. Why? Think about it. Although it is the same course setting to study a bridge course in China, I can say for sure that the effect of knowledge acquired by students must be quite different. As for the process of studying in China for three years, going out for another year, and coming back to get a foreign university diploma, I don't think it can be called studying abroad, because the overseas life and learning experience and language environment on this basis will be weakened by the short time. Therefore, it is impossible for students to fully integrate into the local atmosphere, including the establishment of contacts, and even will eventually have no feeling of learning abroad. So simply finish reading 4 + 0 in China. Therefore, the form of cooperative education has ignored the main connotation of studying abroad, which virtually makes "academic degree" the ultimate goal of studying abroad.
2、 The improvement of language
What is language? The origin of language is the origin of human society and the product of communication between people. If you don't understand western culture, how can you really learn and use the language well? Some people have to say that there are so many students in Beiwai and shangwai that they all learn English very well. Yes, they may learn well, I don't deny it. However, they have to pay a lot of personal effort and time to do it. Even so, if they are really allowed to sit at the international business negotiation table, I am afraid they will feel more than enough. Why? Because it's not our language, it's not our mother tongue. Therefore, through this point, I firmly believe that studying abroad should be young. The earlier you study, the better, and the younger the better.
3、 Get a degree from a famous school
Through the comparison of educational resources in different countries, we can learn that the number of world-famous schools in the young United States is actually 55. However, our motherland, which has a long history and has been studying rigorously for thousands of years, has no place among the world's famous schools! As one of the workers in the education industry, I can't help but sigh! Therefore, I can understand the psychology of pursuing famous schools.
Although the reality is cruel, we have to admit that being in the ranks of the world's famous schools will be the starting point of their inferior road to success, and it will also be one of the steps for them to embark on the road to success. The earlier you prepare, the closer you will be to the other side of success. We may have thought deeply and even studied why even the top universities in China are far behind 200 or even 300 in the world's top universities under the education system in China. Indeed, such a result has to be thought-provoking. Today, our education system is also in constant reform and development, but the status quo can not be changed in a short time, let alone the deep-rooted historical form.
4、 Advanced teaching concept
By analyzing the educational resources abroad, we come to the conclusion that the setting of specialties, teaching methods, evaluation standards and many other aspects are quite different from those in China. Of course, this is inseparable from the different backgrounds and historical cultures of various countries, but more importantly, I think, is the difference in educational philosophy. This is the source and root of all differences.
To be more specific, we can make a comparison. As we all know, in the domestic education system, the score is almost always the first, and it is often the habitual standard for everyone to judge whether a student is good or bad. It is because such a "popular" standard is almost impossible for some students who are partial to major or have average scores but have expertise, or even special students, to be admitted by key colleges and universities and match their majors. Therefore, it is impossible for them to enter a good university and have special professional requirements, which is impossible to achieve in China. However, in the foreign education system, the types of disciplines and the setting of specialties are quite rich, from popularization to specialty of skin personality. Even famous schools or key universities will also pay attention to the personalized development of students, which will give them sufficient space to play their strengths, and will create opportunities for them to fully practice their "fantastic ideas", even if it is inconceivable in the eyes of outsiders. Because foreign education pays more attention to creativity and innovation, as well as practical ability; it is better at exploring students' imagination and giving them enough imagination space. Including teaching methods, atmosphere and practice process, will give people more space to play. All these have been shackled or even strangled in the domestic educational environment. This is also why our students will feel that what they have learned is not what they have learned when they walk out of the campus and enter the society. However, in foreign colleges and universities, as long as they can complete the credits, they can even go to the company to do full-time work, and in this respect will not be restricted by the so-called school rules and regulations.
